After downloading the app, sign up with your Apple ID and follow the onboarding flow. You'll enter your business name and trade, optionally provide your website URL so the AI can learn about your services, then choose a local business number. Setup takes about 2 minutes.
During onboarding, you'll search by area code to find available local numbers. Pick one that matches your service area so customers see a familiar area code when they look up your business. The number is active immediately after selection.
Number porting is not currently supported, but it's on our roadmap. In the meantime, you can forward your existing business number to your new Sulla number, or advertise your Sulla number as your primary business line.
Go to Settings in the app to customize your greeting script. You can set how the AI introduces itself, what information it asks callers for, and any special instructions (like service area limitations or emergency handling). Changes take effect immediately.
When someone calls your Sulla number, the AI answers with your custom greeting, asks what they need, captures their name, phone number, address, and service request. It uses natural-sounding voice AI (powered by ElevenLabs) that callers frequently mistake for a real person. The entire conversation is transcribed in real-time.
If the AI encounters a question it can't handle, it politely lets the caller know and captures their information so you can call them back. It will always get the caller's name and phone number at minimum, so you never lose the lead even if the AI can't answer their specific question.
Yes. Every call is recorded and transcribed. You can listen to the full recording or read the transcript from the call detail screen in the app. Recordings are retained for 90 days.
Sulla's AI is trained to detect urgency in caller language. If a caller describes an emergency (like a burst pipe or gas leak), the AI flags the call as urgent and you'll receive a priority push notification immediately. Emergency calls are highlighted in your inbox so they stand out.
Multi-language support is on our roadmap. Currently, the AI is optimized for English-speaking callers. If a caller speaks Spanish, the AI will do its best to capture their name and phone number so you can call them back.
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan from within the app under Settings > Subscription. Changes are processed through the Apple App Store. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Go to your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Sulla Mobile, and tap Cancel. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Your phone number is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind.
All billing is handled by the Apple App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly. We cannot process refunds on Apple's behalf.
Your phone number is retained for 30 days after your subscription ends. If you resubscribe within that window, you'll get your number back. After 30 days, the number is released and may be reassigned to someone else. You cannot port or transfer the number outside of Sulla.
You can request account deletion from Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. Your account enters a soft-delete state for 30 days (for billing dispute resolution), then all data is permanently purged.
Make sure notifications are enabled for Sulla in your iPhone Settings > Notifications > Sulla Mobile. Also check that you haven't enabled Focus Mode or Do Not Disturb, which can block notifications. If the issue persists, try signing out and back into the app to refresh your notification token.
First, make sure you're calling your Sulla business number (not your personal number). Give it 10-15 seconds to connect -- the AI needs a moment to initialize on the first call. If the call goes straight to a carrier voicemail or doesn't connect, check that your subscription is active and your phone number shows as "Active" in Settings. Contact support if the issue continues.
Audio quality depends on the caller's phone connection and carrier. If multiple callers report issues, try making a test call yourself to diagnose. Choppy audio usually indicates a network issue on the caller's side. If the AI voice itself sounds distorted, contact support so we can check the voice configuration on your account.
Try force-closing the app (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopening it. Make sure you have an active internet connection. If the issue persists, check if there's an app update available in the App Store. As a last resort, delete and reinstall the app -- your account data is stored in the cloud, so you won't lose anything.
